President
Lina is a dedicated clinical counselor with a master’s degree in counseling from TTGU, South Korea and a professional certificate from Putthisastra University. With over a decade of experience as a counselor and trainer for both NGOs and private organizations, Lina deeply committed to guiding individuals toward personal growth. Lina passion lies in helping others unlock their potential, developing meaningful relationships, gaining a clearer understanding of themselves, their values, goals, and abilities, and building resilience to navigate daily stress. Lina believes that taking personal responsibility in addressing challenges fosters profound growth and transformation. While Lina specializes in working with teenagers and young adults, Lina expertise extends across all age groups. Lina therapeutic approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Existential, Gestalt, Sand Tray Therapy and is rooted in empathy, insight, and a dedication to empowering individuals to thrive.
Ny Leakena
Vice-President
Leakena is a dedicated mental health practitioner with over 10 years of experience supporting survivors of sex trafficking and individuals affected by trauma. She is committed to holistic healing and empowerment, drawing on extensive field experience alongside professional expertise in counseling, training, and leadership.
Leakena holds a Bachelor of Law and a Diploma in Professional Mental Health Counseling and holds a master’s degree in psychology and clinical counseling. Leakena multidisciplinary background positions her at the intersection of mental health and justice, particularly in supporting survivors of exploitation.
Driven by a vision of restoration and resilience, Leakena advocates for trauma-informed care and accessible mental health support for individuals seeking healing. Her approach integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Art Therapy, grounded in the belief that healing is possible.
Chan Nimith
Secretary Nimith is an experienced Senior Christian Counsellor with over 10 years of professional counselling practice and more than 18 years of mentoring and empowering women from diverse backgrounds. She is deeply committed to walking alongside individuals especially women through journeys of healing, growth, restoration, and empowerment. She received her counselling training through ICCPC at Waverley Abbey College and completed Pastoral and Advanced Counsellor Training with Living Wholeness. She also holds a master’s degree in clinical and counselling psychology at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, further strengthening her professional expertise. Nimith supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationships and career challenges, as well as couples’ concerns. Her approach is client-centered and empowerment-focused, grounded in empathy, active listening, and deep respect for everyone’s unique journey. She integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), the Gottman Method, and Emmanuel Prayer, tailoring each session to meet the specific needs of her clients. Guided by her belief that God is the ultimate healer, Nimith offers a compassionate, professional, and holistic counselling experience that nurtures emotional well-being, spiritual growth, and lasting transformation.
Korm Sokdalis
Treasurer Sokdalis is a psychologist holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). She also completed professional training in Health Counseling at University of Puthisastra (UP). She also holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and counseling at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, the largest university in Cambodia. She brings over 16 years of experience working in the mental health field with children, adolescents, and university students across Restoration centers, schools, and drug treatment centers. She believes that every individual possesses unique strengths, resilience, self-awareness, the capacity for self-reflection, and the ability to engage in self-care. At times, life presents challenges that can feel overwhelming. In such moments, we all need support who could listen with empathy, provide a safe and non-judgmental space, and help us reconnect with our inner strengths to foster meaningful transition of life. She here to listen with compassion, uphold confidentiality, and provide growth-oriented psychological support to those seeking mental health care. Her counseling approach integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Art Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), grounded in empathy and guided by professional ethical standards. In addition, Sokdalis has experience providing technical support and supervision to counselors, social workers, and caregivers, both individually and in group settings. ‘Mental health Problems such as deep emotional pain, shame, fear, and trauma are not personal failings. Rather, they are part of human experience and call for understanding, healing, and care’.
